Dan Becker
My salon career started, shall we say, in Novel Hair Salon's I.T. Department at age 14. I taught mom how to use the print button on her computer and my career blossomed from there.
For several years I was Novel's salon coordinator. A glamorous position I.T. guy coupled with cleaning the air filters, lucky me.
Then one day I decided it was time to take the plunge, Cosmetology school here I come.Best decision ever. I honestly enjoy customizing fashionable looks for each of my guests.
My advanced training at the American Crew Academy in Colorado took my men's haircutting to a whole new level. Hey let's be honest sometimes us guys are picky too.
In 2011 Novel Hair introduced our Novel Masters Program. What I have learned from this training is more effective communication. I was taking the amazing technical classes in Redken Color, Aquage styling, Surface haircutting but until I could communicate my vision with my guest these techniques were a visionary waste. Well wasted no more...come on in relax in our friendly laid back atmosphere, and chat with me. I'll create a custom look for you that will be easy to maintain at home.
FYI even though I'm the cool dude hairstylist well..she still makes me change the air filters.
